El portavoz del Consejo de Seguridad Nacional, John Kirby, confirm\u00f3 en conferencia virtual que no existe una investigaci\u00f3n sobre el presidente de M\u00e9xico, Andr\u00e9s Manuel L\u00f3pez Obrador, y sus presuntas conexiones con el narcotr\u00e1fico.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo hay ninguna investigaci\u00f3n sobre el presidente [Andr\u00e9s Manuel] L\u00f3pez Obrador\u201d, dijo Kirby al abordar el tema.<\/p>\n
Se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el Departamento de Justicia deber\u00eda ampliar la informaci\u00f3n sobre las investigaciones a aliados del presidente de M\u00e9xico y las campa\u00f1as electorales.<\/p>\n
El diario La Opini\u00f3n pregunt\u00f3 al Departamento de Justicia (DOJ, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) detalles de la indagatoria, pero no ha respondido al respecto.<\/p>\n
Kirby defendi\u00f3 la relaci\u00f3n del gobierno del presidente Joe Biden con el de L\u00f3pez Obrador. \u201cTendr\u00eda que se\u00f1alarle al Departamento de Justicia para cualquier cosa espec\u00edfica, y como ya lo han dicho, consta en el expediente que no hay ninguna investigaci\u00f3n sobre el presidente L\u00f3pez Obrador\u201d, insisti\u00f3 Kirby.<\/p>\n
El experto en seguridad nacional y acciones militares record\u00f3 que el DOJ ya hab\u00eda dejado en otra ocasi\u00f3n \u201cen claro\u201d que no hab\u00eda una investigaci\u00f3n abierta al presidente de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n
\u201cCreo que el Departamento de Justicia ya ha dejado claro que no hay ninguna investigaci\u00f3n sobre el presidente L\u00f3pez Obrador\u201d, dijo Kirby. \u201cY el Departamento de Justicia tendr\u00eda la responsabilidad de revisar cualquier acusaci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/p>\n
